Lie on the bench, feet flat on the floor, eyes directly under the bar.

Grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder-width, wrists stacked over elbows.

Unrack, lower the bar to your mid-chest with elbows at about 45° from your torso.

Press up and slightly back, driving through your feet, until arms lock out.

Keep shoulder blades pulled together and pressed into the bench throughout.
