Lie on a flat bench, dumbbells above your chest, palms facing each other.

Keep a slight bend in your elbows throughout — this stays fixed.

Lower the dumbbells out to the sides in a wide arc until you feel a chest stretch.

Bring them back together above your chest, squeezing the pecs.

Don't go too low — stop when your upper arms are roughly parallel to the floor.
